I wish I were a knight, with armour shining,
For thou art a maiden fair,
Forever, I would love thee,
Forever, I would hold thee,
Forever, I would need thee,
Forever, yes, forever I would care.
I would slay a dragon for thee,
And flowers I would bring.
For I would have you as my Queen,
If I could be your king.
But alas, alas, I am only me,
Not worthy of your hand, my love,
But then again,
Maybe.
One day I'll find that dragon,
And do with him as you please,
For inside I am your knight in armour,
Just waiting.....
