WHAT LOVE MEANS TO ME

What Love Means To Me

Love means committing to one another...
Love means forgiving each other....
Love means trusting each other....
Love means Loving each other at all times....
Love means showing that love at all times.....

This next section I had given to me many years ago and I think it's wonderful....
I don't know who wrote it or where it came from......
I think it works for both males and females.....
I hope that you like it and you can use it in your relationship......

THE FOUR "A"S....

1. ACCEPT.
Accept your partner as he/she is. Write out two lists - one of his/her faults and one of his/her virtues.
Take a long, hard look at his/her faults and then throw the list away; don't ever dwell on them again.
Only think of his/her virtues. Carry that list around with you and refer to it when you are mad, sad or glad.

2. ADMIRE.
Admire your partner everyday. Refer to his/her virtue list if you need a place to start.
Say something nice about his/her body today. Put his/her tattered ego back together with compliments.

3.ADAPT.
Adapt to his/her way of life. Accept his/her friends, food and life-style as your own.
Ask him/her to write the six most important changes he'd/she'd like to see take place at your house.
Read the list in private, react in private, and then set out to accomplish these changes with a smile.
Be a 'YES LET'S' person, sometime everyday.

4. APPRECIATE.
Appreciate all he/she does for you.
Sincerely tell him/her "Thank you" with all your attitudes, actions and words.
Give him/her your undivided attention.
Try not to make any telephone calls after he/she comes home, especially after 8:00p.m.

I LOVE YOU

Soft honest words that mean I accept you as you are.
I trust you, I need and respect you and more than my lover, you are my friend.
Telling someone you love them means that you accept every thing about them, their faults and annoying habits included.
It's trusting them and knowing that they trust you in return.
It's sharing feelings and experiences.
It's caring what the other person thinks, says and does.
It's togetherness and respect for each other's privacy at the same time.
Respect for each other is one of the most important things to have in any relationship.
If there is no real respect, then there won't be much real love either...........
